The food brand YFood expands to England (GB) via the everstox network and benefits from automated logistics processes.
Munich, November 16, 2020 – everstox, developer and operator of Germany’s first API-based logistics platform of the same name, welcomes a new customer from the food sector: the innovative food tech start-up YFood relies on the high-quality logistics network of everstox to expand its product distribution to England (GB). At the same time, YFood benefits from automated processes and other advantages of the digital, data-driven logistics platform.
With its innovative complete meal solutions, the Munich-based food brand YFood has set itself the goal of enabling healthy nutrition even in stressful moments. The company’s drinks, bars, and powders are whole meals that contain everything the body needs. Since the beginning of 2020, YFood has not only sold its products via 14,000 points of sales in the DACH area, but now also via the everstox solution to England (GB).
The expansion of the popular YFood products into the consumer market in England (GB) was implemented through local warehousing and data-driven fulfillment from the everstox network. The food brand benefits not only from easy access to qualified logistics service providers from the everstox network throughout Europe, but also from automation and digital control of the logistics processes for orders, stocks and demand planning via an API-driven interface and software: the everstox platform. For YFood’s day-to-day operations for orders, stocks and demand in England (GB), this means seamless real-time data exchange from the shop (Shopify) and ERP (Xentral) systems, and the warehouse management systems (WMS) of the independent logistics partner from the everstox network.
Before the partnership with everstox, the long delivery times from the German warehouse did not meet the company’s requirements and standards. This is why YFood started looking for a logistics solution that could be implemented quickly, which would sustainably shorten delivery times and thus improve the customer experience. YFood has now found the optimal solution through everstox: “Right from the start, we were enthusiastic about the close exchange with the everstox team and the simple technical integration of our existing trading systems. We see everstox as a very decisive lever to accelerate our European expansion and to be able to offer our customers the best possible service with the help of the uncomplicated, short-term connection of warehouses in the required target markets,” explains Felix Hellenberg, Head of Operations at YFood.
